The Minnesota State Fair is the second largest one in the United States, beaten by the grandiose Texas. Also called the "Minnesota Great Get-Together", this annual fair takes place between St. Paul and Minneapolis and attracts over 1.8 million people during the course of 12 days finalizing on Labor Day.
Because of the huge amount of people attending I've learned during the years to go early and be there by 9AM.
One of the main attractions is FOOD! And it's awesome to have new and crazy snacks and dishes created every yeary, most of them fried and/or in a stick. The classics for me yearly are: Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar and 'Pop Rocks' French Toast from Blue Barn.
We roll through the fair the "eat-play-discover-repeat" way. 🍪🎡💡✨
Going on the SkyRide or SkyGlider is one of my favorites, I love to see the amount of people!
My family and I got to enjoy admiring a lot of animals from horses and cows to alpacas and butterflies.
The Fine Arts Center, the Eco Experience and the Giant Sing Along were my favorite things!
I've fallen in love with this Minnesotan yearly tradition and can't wait for my family from Mexico to come and enjoy it! 🙌 See ya in 2017!
